GGM Co.Ltd was founded in 1974 as Gugje Geared Motor that became GGM later.

GGM is specialized in small AC and DC geared motors with three production factories in Korea.

For Small DC Geared Motor, DC Planetary Geared Motor and AC Shaded Pole Geared Motor have a production capability of 5,000pcs/day and 1,250,000pcs/year.

For AC, DC Standard Motor & Gear Head, BLDC Motor & High Strength Gear Head, we have 1,000pcs/day and 250,000pcs/year.

GGM’s fully automated production facilities enable us to maintain high quality products, short production lead time and competitive production cost.

GGM will try our best in designing and suggesting motors to satisfy our customers with optimized solutions in the applications.

We, Pactra Corporation/dba GGM America are a distributor and sales authority of GGM Co. Ltd in Korea to help our customers in North America.

1979

  • Founded the company in Seoul, Korea
  • Developed SMALL GEARHEAD

1982

  • Developed AC SHADED POLE INDUCTION GEARED MOTOR
  • Developed SHYNCRONOUS GEARED MOTOR

1986

  • Developed GEARHEAD for DC MICRO MOTOR
  • Developed ICE CRUSHER GEARHEAD

1993

  • Developed DC MICRO MOTOR
  • Moved the company Head Office to Bucheon, Korea (Currently, 1st Factory)

1997

  • Acquired patents for GEARHEAD for small motors
  • Acquired patents for vending machines of lottery tickets

1999

  • Acquired ISO 9001 Certification
  • Developed MOLD TYPE COMPACT GEARED MOTOR

2002

  • Acquired UL Certification for AC SHADED POLE INDUCTION MOTOR
  • Founded the second factory in Bucheon, Korea

2003

  • Developed STANDARD AC MOTOR & GEARHEAD
  • Acquired UL Certification for STANDARD AC MOTOR
  • Acquired CE Certification for STANDARD AC MOTOR

2005

  • Established RoHS System
  • Established CCC System

2011

  • Established 3rd factory in Incheon, Korea
  • Built R&D Building next to the second Factory

2013 ~ 2016

  • BLDC motor 400W, FLAT Type Gearhead developed
  • Development Flat Type gearhead
  • 5 Million Export Awarded
  • Right Angle gearhead developing

2017 ~ 2019

  • Developed 200W ICE Maker motor
  • Received achievement award at the Small and Medium Business Convergence Festival (Presidential citation)
  • Designated as root technology company (Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business)
